Michael Otto (born April 12, 1943, in Chełmno (Kulm) in the Nazi occupied Poland), is the head of Otto Group, the world's largest mail order company, with $24 billion in sales in fiscal year 2003. Thanks to a 30% rise in Internet sales last year, Otto also maintains its position as the Web's second-biggest retailer, behind Amazon.com.

Currently a Master's level Therapist working on licensure hours and gaining experience at this level in the mental health field. Practicing primarily from the Adlerian and Existential theoretical approaches - focusing on family and social influences, responsibility, authenticity, and meaningfulness; also occasionally using a Solution-Focused Brief Therapy approach.

Spent 5 years working with at-risk adolescents in the child welfare system in a County Funded Transitional Living program in the Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton Area. Assisted these youth who were "aging out of care" to learn the necessary life-skills in order to live successfully and independently while still working towards educational and employment goals.

1 year of Master's Level Therapy Internship at Muhlenberg College's Counseling Services Center. Worked with young adults in the areas of depression, anxiety, relationship issues, transitional adjustment, consultation and coaching for students with concerns about peers, and some trauma work. Otto just started as Resident Advisor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Future goals include the pursuit of a Doctoral Degree (Psy. D) with potential research in the culture of Heavy Metal music and the diversity of it's musicians and fans; also looking to explore the roots and meaning in this form of music.
